A Little Something Different

Dear Members,

For this month's mid month tasting, the Events team have decided to try something a little bit different... Miskey!

Miskey is an experiment dreamed up by the Kinsale Mead company, where they took some of their most popular or unique meads, and aged them in premium whiskey barrels from the Midleton Distillery: Mead +Whiskey = Miskey!

A number of different meads will be on the mat along with the honeys which were used to make them and a Midleton whiskey. This will allow members to see the influence of the raw ingredients, the base liqueur, the cask influence and the final, aged Miskey to really go on a flavour journey!

The following will be on the mat:

• Forest Honey & Forest Honey Mead

• Dark Forest Honey Miskey

• Jameson 18 year old

• Atlantic Dry Mead

• Wild Forest Honey Miskey

• Wildflower Honey & Wildflower Mead

• Wildflower Honey Miskey

We hope you are as excited as we are to try out something a little bit different, as we look to explore all avenues of whiskey flavour and Irish craft.

We look forward to raising a glass with you!

Booking opens on Monday the 8th of September at 7.00pm. Join the waiting list to be notified as we might be able to get more spots for the event. It is necessary to register and complete payment via Stripe (within 15 minutes) to secure your booking.
