The IWS President's Tasting is the last big event in the IWS calendar. As a devoted member of the Killowen Kult, for Brían Ó Donnchadha there was never a doubt about his first choice for this year's President's Tasting as it was almost predestined!

We are delighted to have Brendan Carty join us to present a selection of Killowen Distillery spirits. The accolades (and acolytes!) that Killowen has garnered over the years are indeed many and are inspired by the vision of this award-winning distiller to create exceptional liquids that draw equally on tradition and innovation.

Over three years ago, Brendan laid down a cask of single pot still whiskey for the IWS, which is due for release in 2024. In the last few weeks he has also laid down a new cask for us, with our own bespoke mash-bill.

Both of these flavour sensations will be in the line up, along with others that even the most committed Killowen fan will not yet have tasted.

For the benefit of those who cannot join us in person, there will be the opportunity to enjoy the event online and sample these lovely drams at home, all at cask strength of course.

Killowen Barántúil releases have a recognised quality and as such, have been chosen by Barry Group (Carry Out off-licences) for their first ever exclusive bottling marking their centenary, some of which may still be found in the wild but it's customary for Barántúil to sell out upon release.
