Teeling Whiskey Tasting with Alex Chasko

We are delighted to announce a very special online tasting of some favourite, some new and some as yet unreleased Teeling Whiskey with Alex Chasko, Chief Technology Officer at Teeling Distillery on Thursday 28th of May at 7.30pm. 


Teeling Whiskey Distillery opened in 2015 and was the first new distillery in Dublin for over 125 years, reviving the city which used to be the world whiskey capital. Under Alex's guidance, Teeling Whiskey continues to bring out new and exciting expressions. 

We're delighted our members will get to join in a tasting with a chance to sample their Teeling's limited edition Brabazon Series 3, together with Series 1 & Series 2. We will also get to experience the Single Pot Still core release, and an upcoming expression pre-release; Blackpitts Single Malt. 


We will taste and be guided though the following expressions:

· Single Pot Still Core Release: Virgin oak, ex-wine and ex-bourbon casks (46%)

· Brabazon Series 1: Single Malt Sherry Cask (49.5%)

· Brabazon Series 2: Single Malt Port Cask (49.5%)

· Brabazon Series 3: 14 YR Single Malt Finished in PX cask (49.5%)

· Blackpitts Single Malt: Peated Single Malt (46%)

Latest Teeling Brabazon Series 3 Release

The new Brabazon Series 3 Single Malt, Aged 14 Years, is their latest expression released only this month.

They sourced Pedro Ximénez Sherry Casks that had been used for over 90 Years in a small family run bodega in Jerez, filled them with  Single Malt distilled in 2005 and left for over 3 years in the PX Casks. Limited to 10,000 Bottles. ABV: 49.5%


Blackpitts Single Malt (Unreleased) 

Triple distilled Peated Single Malt matured in American Bourbon casks and Sauternes casks.

The Peated Malt started at robust at 55ppm and through the process of triple distillation turned to a subtle and lightly peated whiskey. 


Booking opens on Sunday 17th of May at 12.00 noonPlease ensure your complete your address and Eircode correctly to ship your sample pack. Bookings will close on Thursday 21st of May at 12.00noon to allow the samples to shipped on time.

It is necessary to register and complete payment via PayPal (within 15 minutes) to secure your booking. Samples can only be shipped by standard post within Republic of Ireland to members of the Society.
