Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery Visit & Master Class

We had a superb tasting in June with Tullamore D.E.W by Kevin Pigott and Greg McEntee. It was incredibly well received and members were very interested on the night to find more, the Irish Whiskey Society has now been invited for a masterclass and tour of Tullamore D.E.W distillery on Friday 17^th January 2020.

Outline of the visit with at Tullamore D.E.W.:       

•    11:00am sharp – Leaving at CHQ building Dublin     
•    1:00pm - Visitor centre - Lunch available to order on arrival.
•    1:45pm -Transport to the distillery
•       2:00pm - Warehouse visit 
•       2:30pm - VIP Distillery tour        
•    4:00pm - Masterclass
•       4:30pm/ 4.45pm - Depart distillery
•       6pm-7pm – Arrival in Dublin

The amazing Tullamore D.E.W distillery, built in 2014 has brought back the whiskey production to the old home in Co Offaly for the first time since 1954. This visit will be a fantastic opportunity to learn more about their state of the art production process from Still House to Warehouse while being guided by Tullamore D.E.W Global brand ambassador John Quinn.

There is a modest fee to cover the cost of the trip. A bus is arranged to collect the members from CHQ building in Dublin.

The events start at 1.00 pm at the Tullamore tourist centre.
