Our May tasting is an introduction to The Irishman, an innovative independent bottler whose boutique blends and single malts have been winning awards and plaudits all over the world.  Shane Fitzharris from the Irishman will be conducting the tasting to give us an up close and personal perspective on this range.

The family-run firm began from humble beginnings, as one man's dream of streamlining the process for making Irish coffee was transformed into a clever pre-made product. But it wasn't long before the company branched out into bottling its own whiskeys, beginning with the Irishman 70, a unique blend of single malt and single potstill whiskeys which proved extremely popular with casual drinkers and afficionados alike. Their wonderfully named Writers Tears blend soon followed, and has proved enormously popular. The Irishman's range currently boasts premium cask-strength versions of both brands too.

Our May tasting is an opportunity to experience all of these hard-to-find whiskeys and hear the story of how this small firm broke the mould of Irish whiskey by bringing two of Ireland's best-loved spirits - potstill and single malt - together in the same glass.

All our events have booked out early so don't delay, if you do miss out please add your name to our waiting list. This will allow us to gauge the level of interest and assist us in determining when we can move to a larger venue
