In-Person Tasting Events

Terms and Conditions of Participation - Version 3: 19 Oct 2021

By signing up to attend this Dingle Chapter event you agree to abide by the terms & conditions, and any additional public health or operational guidelines which may be put in place by the Government and Failte Ireland beforehand.

Government statement on Public Health Measures from Oct 22nd 2021:

Protective measures include:

  • requirement for EU Digital COVID Certificate (COVID-19 pass) (vaccine or recovery certificate) for indoor hospitality and events
  • social distancing
  • face masks (can be removed for consumption of food or drinks as appropriate)
  • table service only in hospitality settings (max of 10 adults per table)
  • collection of contact tracing data

We respectfully request that everyone adheres to all of the Government and other guidelines in place, and any updated ones at the time of the event.

If you feel unwell stay at home, you will receive a refund on request.

Before a customer is allowed to enter the seating area the Proof of Immunity for each adult will be checked to verify eligibility for entry to the seating area.

  • Scanning and confirming validity of the vaccination or recovered status of each customer using the EU Digital Covid Certificate Checker or other validation of Proof of Immunity prescribed in regulations.
  • Please bring official Photo ID (e.g. Driving Licence, Passport, official Student ID) for Proof of Identity prescribed in the regulations.
  • Once confirmed as vaccinated or recovered, a customer is deemed eligible for entry and can move to the next check-in step of contact tracing; this will include recording your name and phone number.
Once checks are complete and data recorded, customers can then be shown to their seats and assigned table.

Social distancing should be maintained between tables. If you arrive in a group a maximum of 10 people may be seated together at a table. You will need to remain with your assigned table for the duration.

If a customer leaves the premises for any reason (e.g. smoking areas that require someone to re-enter the premises) they must inform a staff member before re-entry, you may be required to re-checked in.

Face coverings must be worn by customers at all times  (can be removed for consumption of food or drinks as appropriate) at their assigned table, please maintain good hand and respiratory hygiene. Do not adjust any windows or doors that have been opened for ventilation.

Please note the guideline in place require that if you arrive without a verifiable Proof of Immunity, you will be refused entry to the indoor facilities.
